Oz Naturals

Oz Naturals* have recently introduced a new Hyaluronic Acid Serum for all your beauty needs to not only add moisturise to the skin, but also as a great tool for ironing out fine lines even at a young age. I mentioned within a previous post how important it was to start young with your anti-ageing regime, and there are a selection of great products that can add to a pamper routine in a vital way. Using only the highest quality ingredients, the serum aims to hydrate your skin deeply reviving your skin back to plump youthfulness.

We all know the benefits of adding Vitamin C to our diets, and by having it in your moisturiser it’s a great way to feed your skin once, or twice, a day without the need to buy fresh fruit. Think about how you feel after taking a bite into an orange, it’s refreshing isn’t it? That’s exactly how your skin if you mix things up with Vitamin C in your routine.
Now I’m going to be honest there, as I always have with any product I put on my skin – my skin isn’t the greatest. As much as I chug down water, I’m envious of those who have “normal” skin. My skin changes on the daily. It’s a weird unbalanced combination of dry and oily skin. When it comes to skincare products; I try product after product, but it seriously takes a lot to change my mind about my current skin care saviours.

I applied the Oz NaturalsHyaluronic Acid Serum twice a day, morning and evening for a week. Giving up my skin care saviours to trial out something new, and see what effects it had on my skin. The bottle for the serum has a pipette which means that there’s no risk of using more product than you need. I only really felt that I needed half a pipette full of serum. This should give you around 2 or 3 drops of serum.  There wasn’t really any sort of direction and instruction as to how much of the Oz NaturalsHyaluronic Acid Serum needed to be used, which would have been nice as it seemed more trial and error.

The serum has a light fragrance to it, it smells similar to rose water with a hint of orange. What I did find a bit weird was the texture, it looked a bit gooey but really it rubbed into the skin great, and felt really light.

The serum rubs into the skin easily and does leave your skin feeling soft, however, this feeling doesn’t last and I felt my skin was back to it’s dry self almost within 10 minutes. I did need to apply a light moisturiser on top of the Oz Naturals serum, this was due to the serum not hydrating my skin as much as I would normally prefer before applying make-up.

Although I trialled the serum for only a week, it is recommended that this is used for at least a month, I didn’t notice much difference to the texture of my skin. If anything, I was just adding an extra step to my skin-care routine that wasn’t actually having any effect. As a result, I wouldn’t recommend the Oz NaturalsHyaluronic Acid Serum to anyone looking to start their anti-ageing routine young.

The Oz NaturalsHyaluronic Acid Serum retails at £12.39 on Amazon.
