Time To Relax | The Kneader Review

Kneader

Anyone who has been following me on Twitter knows that I am big on going to the gym at the moment; I am loving mixing it up with cardio and weights. Although the daily exercise is amazing for my health, it’s also taking a toll on my muscles. Giving your body time to relax and recover is essential for recovery, however, pushing your muscles and body along and giving it an extra hand never hurt anyone either.

The Kneader* has recently been introduced into the market as the new essential product for those of us who want to relax our muscles, but don’t necessarily have the time, or budget, to head down to the spa every so often for a massage. The Kneader comes with a great instructional manual and DVD to help build up your style and technique, so you don’t need to be a fully trained masseuse to use this product and get the most out of your massage.

The Kneader is a hand-held massage tool, that can be used all over your body to help relieve tight worn muscles, releasing any tension. The Kneader is ergonomically designed to fit all hand sizes, and be taken on the go – if need be, making it a must-have product for your gym bag. By inserting your hand directly into the kneader finger components, it allows you to have greater control over the pressure you apply to muscles which means muscles that are more strained than others can have pressure applied to lightly. Massaging techniques, such as stroking and kneading can be alternatively used with the kneader to get the right movements against muscles.

The Kneader has three different components to it to perfect the massage. First, the upper arch which is the main component of the Kneader, which can be used for stroking movements. This will mean that the muscle tissue can have a deeper pressure applied to it. Secondly, the upper side portions, which are on the cornet of the Kneader, this is particularly great for tired and strained muscles, and can be used to focus on smaller areas. And finally, the lower arch, which is used on arms or calves. As it has a more defined edge it can be used to work with the bone and muscle at the same time.

Massaging your muscles isn’t just good after a workout, it should be done regularly to stimulate blood-flow and be used as a natural painkiller, in a relaxing way. Try the Kneader with essential oils such as lavender. Using a few drops of this against the Kneader can be a great way to relax and incorporate into your pampering routine.

The Kneader can be purchased from Amazon for £19.99.

Try the Kneader after a workout and see the difference it makes to your recovery time.
