TLOV | Dealing with abusive relationships

Relationships are difficult. One minute you think you have found the one, the next minute things are over without you even seeing the signs. Sometimes though, as much as it doesn’t feel like it, it can be a god send for the relationship to be over, as it could be one deemed as an unhealthy relationship. When someone says unhealthy relationship it isn’t one whereby it’s making the individual unhealthy internally, it’s more the emotional unhealthiness it would have eventually led to. So how do we cope with unhealthy relationships, that may be abusive?

Competition | Joules Design A Welly Competition

Everyone loves a good competition, and it’s even better if you’re in the bid to win something that you wouldn’t ever see yourself being able to purchase at the drop of a hat. There seems to be a new competition buzzing around that everyone has there eyes on. None other than Joules, a company that has fast become one of Britain’s best-loved lifestyle brands, are hosting a competition that is sure to make you want to enter and support them. And what’s better than supporting a British brand and doing our bit for charity? Bit of a backstory here about Joules, selling clothing items (ranging from UK size 6-20), home-ware and gifts, it would be fairly difficult not to find the right item for you whilst browsing online or visiting one of their stores – which are nationwide, and can be found in the likes of Pearsons and Mothercare. Bloggers Hangout | BLFW Event

Last week, on Monday., I was invited to attend one of the BLFW (Bloggers Love Fashion Week) events at the Oxo Tower, London – an event organised by The Bloggers Hangout. The Bloggers Hangout is a community for us like -minded bloggers, who organise events, gifting, and a place to talk all things blogging. The event itself coincided with London Fashion Week, with The Bloggers Hangout’s very own touch to fashion week itself. This was my first event that I had attended which was organised by The Bloggers Hangout, and although I had been a member of the community since I first started blogging, I had never signed up to attend any of the events before. This was never due to the events appealing to me, more so, I didn’t have as much free time as I do now. The location of the BLFW event fit the vibe of London…

TLOV| Bloggersfestival 2015

The Bloggersfestival was trending on Twitter for the week building up to the event, so if you haven’t heard of the Bloggersfestival, where exactly have you been? On Saturday, I had the pleasure of attending the Bloggersfestival, which was organised by the lovely Scarlett. This was actually my first event as a blogger, ever, and it was only natural for me to feel a mixed bag of emotions – from nervous, anxious but all in all, I was excited! I had heard SO many positive comments about events that Scarlett had previously held, and from reading reviews and thoughts from other bloggers on 2014’s Bloggersfestival I had to get my RSVP in quickly. Prior to making my way to the Bloggersfestival, which was held at the oh-so-glam Conrad London St James hotel, Jasmine and Kirsty from Soeurs de Luxe had planned a bloggers lunch at Pizza Express Victoria Street to meet new…

Blog Birthday | One Year On

One year ago I finally decided to take the plunge, after trawling through the internet reading blog after blog. I wanted a piece of that cake.I wanted a place that I could call my own, air my opinions and views, somewhere that was mine. And exactly that, was what encouraged me to get going with my blog. And it has been one hell of a journey one year on. I honestly didn’t think I would stick to keeping up with blog posts, or even hold out on keeping a blog. I’m guilty of being that person who starts something but never finishes. Yes, I know what you’re going to say, but it’s a bad quality of mine, and something I need to work on. You can call this a self-reflection post, or maybe a post where I’m going to set myself goals (in relation to my blog), and try and…
