How often is it that a brand has their fragrance acclaimed as the Chanel No 5 of room fragrances? Kenneth Turner, one of the world’s leading room fragrance brands have marked their stamp within department stores such as Harrod’s and Fortnum & Mason with just that very achievement.

Their fragrances have fast becoming signature scents for your home, and have been a long-standing brand, who bring warmth and joy to homes through their aromas. With an array of candles, reed diffusers and room colognes there is sure to be a scent to match the setting and mood your envisage for your home.

I really love how the Kenneth Turner Room Colognes* are notably named as colognes, rather than room fragrances as it adds a touch of sophistication and an upgrade to your usual room spray. It really advertises the spray as a scent that will not only be long-lasting, but complimentary to whatever room it is sprayed within.

Kenneth Turner have forever wanted teach of their signature scents to bring each individual back to a special memory. Whether it be a room, a special occasion or a time in their life. If you are looking for recommendations on what scents to go for, I would opt for celebration – for bringing families and friends together, spirit – for an intoxicating urban atmosphere, or signature – which has proven popular as a spicy mixed scent.

The scents within the range are:

Soiree – a mix of sweet pea, rose and grape mingling together. It’s a mix of a floral statement, and a fairly strong scent.

Celebration – this really does bring you back to a joyous time of being together with family to celebrate. There are notes of roses and lilies.

Bubbly – this is such a flirty smell! It’s a hue of roses, jasmine and pear, such a girly scent and perfect for a girls night in!

Each of the room colognes are alcohol free, so you know you are getting the true scent of each of the fragrances, and the bottles hold 100ml within them.

The smell, once sprayed, lasts a good few hours without needing a touch up. One thing I would add about the sprays is that it doesn’t have an overwhelming initial smell to it. Sometimes when you get room sprays from candle distributors, there is an overbearing smell that can sometimes give you a headache. The Kenneth Turner Room Cologne’s, on the other hand, subtly diffuse the scent over a few hours to give you delicate hints of the fragrance.

I opted for the Spirit, such a playful, vibrant and carefree scent of magnolia and peony.

Kenneth Turner Room Cologne’s can be ordered directly from their website HERE and retail at £20.00.

If Jo Malone room sprays are out of budget, I would certainly give Kenneth Turner a try as they are not only budget friendly, but also have a wide range of scents that can match anyone’s mood.

Have you tried any room colognes before?
