I am someone who loves to accessorize with different items to complete an outfit, but I’m pretty particular with the accessories I choose to wear. I’m someone who doesn’t like accessories to overbear the outfit that you are wearing, but to compliment it. Small pieces like necklaces, that aren’t huge statement pieces, I think work perfectly to complete an outfit. I tend to go for simple designs, that are simple enough to be pulled off as a must have to complete an outfit. You will rarely find me with statement necklaces around my neck, as I firmly believe your neck should be kept free with just one single piece of Jewellery . Don’t get me wrong though, I will compensate with earrings and bracelets! I recently fallen in love with this beautiful necklace, and the collection in fact, by Buckley London*, who kindly sent me the Miniature Heart Pendant, as a gift from the Bloggers Love Twitter Party.
Buckley Jewellery are a gorgeous brand who design and make amazing quality fashion and costume jewellery, at prices that won’t break the bank. Compared to other brands who design jewellery, other brands will charge you almost three times as much for similar products that Buckley Jewellery sell. And it isn’t jewellery that people would ever guess the price of. Saying that, I actually asked my fiance how much he would pay for the piece that I received from Buckley Jewellery, and it was almost twice as much. This beautiful piece can be bought directly from them at £35! And there is certainly no negotiation on quality.
The Miniature Heart Pendant is hand crafted with Austrian crystal, which makes it the perfect gift for loved ones as it has been made with love and care to get each necklace just right. And to top it off, if you’re not feeling like being slightly glitz for one day, the necklace is reversible, revealing a rose gold coloured heart. Versatile for all types of looks. Though, I personally think the Miniature Heart Pendant looks great peeping just above a plain polo neck.
The packaging for the necklace was lovely! I’m such a sucker when it comes to the way things are packaged. The necklace came in a rectangular jewellery box, with bag-like straps as handles at the top, sort of like it’s own gift bag!
